The Last Two Weeks at Tailwheel Town
It's time for my mea culpa! It seems that I was in a big hurry, to get the newsletter out last time, considering that I was already three days late! I didn't put the links in, enabling my readers to go right to the article on the website. I've been criticized before for making my readers type an extra keystroke to access an article. This one was a bit much and I'll try not to make that mistake again!
Speaking of...seems I'm a wee bit late in getting this one out, too. Well, we've had our hands full at Tailwheel Town and, with equal parts grunting, headaches and loose bolts, the old 140 is finally starting to look like herself again.
One of the things that has kept me from putting the newsletter out is the fact that my old pal, Steven Brown came up from Ashland to help me use a new editing program and to put together a video on my old Airshow Act, The Acme Duck and Airshow Company. If you are one of those people who wonders what that act was, all you have to do is go to "Videos" along the top of the home page and select it. You'll soon see copies of the old 3/4" videotape that Steven and I have put in a new video. Now you know!
A New Article on the Tailwheeler's Journal
"
Sunavacheezmaker!", she hollered. Marking one big "Aha" moment for Tara, and a handy reminder for me (and all you other instructors out there, too).
The Older Article
"Descending too soon" and words from Wolfgang Langewiesche... If you want my opinion (and I assume you do), when flying over terrain like this, I'll take "money in my pocket," as opposed to "money in the bank," thank you.
