MiDataHub Upgrade & Consolidation Status
As indicated previously, this is the key week where we are working to upgrade the MiDataHub infrastructure from Ed-Fi 2.4 to Ed-Fi 3.1.1 as well as consolidating 5 data hubs to one data hub that will be hosted at Oakland Schools. That work is in progress and for the most part progressing according to plan. We had anticipated the need to shut down the 2.4 environment as we started this work, but have found that we are able to leave that up and functional for districts for the present time, and likely through the end of August. That will allow districts to continue to use current configurations to acquire UICs and Snack-Pack information as they enroll new students for the fall.

By this Friday or next Monday we should be able to announce that the consolidated and upgraded MiDataHub infrastructure is available for districts to begin configuring data flow for the 2020-21 school year. The webinar slide-deck in the article above has the status of SIS systems and other production integrations. We will continue to update this information in future newsletters as we have more details. Also, you can keep up with the progress of the upgrade and consolidation on our Status page.
Student Information System 3.1 Readiness
The MiDataHub team has been working closely with each Student Information System on the timing of their release of the 3.1 tools to publish data to MiDataHub and potential training opportunities for configuring the new data exchange for its users.

Below is a timeline they have provided us to share out. Within 24 hours we will have this timeline available on our website also at https://www.midatahub.org/support/status/.

The status of each SIS will be updated routinely on our website, resulting in outdated dates below.

If you have any questions on these timelines please either contact the SIS provider directly or support@midatahub.org and we will assist you in getting an answer.
