First Ever CCEH Talent Show a Success!

The Talent Show, held on October 5 at the new Bank of NH Stage came within a hair of selling out . Food provided by O Steaks & Seafood , and a cash bar in the beautiful new Bank of NH Stage Bar created a delightful pre-show, along with the raffle, the wine pull, Heads or Tails, and Buy a Vote.  We are still tallying everything up, but with our generous sponsors, the whole event brought in about $27,000 after expenses.  All of these funds go to support our programs, which all work towards our goal of ending homelessness in our community.

MANY THANKS TO THESE BUSINESSES FOR SUPPORTING OUR WORK IN THIS MANNER!!

Housing Success!! What a great day was
Friday, October 4!!!

THREE people were HOUSED!!! A couple who are clients of the Housing First Concord Program, and an individual who has been a guest of the Resource Center.
The guest of the Resource Center has been receiving services off and on since 2014. At the RC she had a place to receive mail, support and assistance with completing housing applications, support with current landlords, and the ability to shower, do laundry, get a haircut and use a computer. It all adds up eventually! HURRAY!!!

The couple had been homeless for 3 years. Housing First Concord assisted them with finding an apartment, provides them with a rental voucher, and was able to give them furnishings and other necessities because of the generous people who bring us gently used things when we are in need.

See the letter they wrote HERE - it is truly inspirational. We helped and supported, but THEY did the work that needed to be done and that only they could do.

We have had 600 individuals come to the RC this year, 240 in the past month. Of those 240, half of them only came for 1 or 2 visits.
