Sacramento Clean Fuel Technology Workshop
8/8 - Grant Workshop
  • The Sac Metro Air District and the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition invite all dealers and low carbon fuel providers to attend a workshop that will focus on upcoming incentive funding for zero-emission class 6, 7, and 8 trucks, CNG class 6, 7, and 8 trucks, zero emission school buses, and fleet zero emission fueling infrastructure. Join us for a complimentary continental breakfast and learn how your customers can qualify for grant funding. Plus get updates on any upcoming rules, policies and procedures.

8/28 - Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure Workshop
  • The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD) and the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition (SCCC) invite you to participate in a workshop on hydrogen fueling infrastructure in the Sacramento Region. SMAQMD will develop a multi-million dollar RFP for public access hydrogen infrastructure for light and heavy duty vehicles to be introduced in the first quarter of 2020. This workshop will be an opportunity for potential infrastructure providers and potential hydrogen fuel users to learn about plans and to help guide RFP development concepts. The workshop will be held on August 28, from 1pm – 3pm at the SMAQMD, 777 12th Street Suite 300, Sacramento, CA, 95814. Attendance will be limited and registration is required. Please RSVP

Prototype Tires Generate Electrical Energy
Sumitomo and Goodyear have developed a technology that generates electrical energy from the flexing that happens when a tire flattens slightly and then rebounds as it rolls. Research is underway to increase the amount of energy produced and to commercialize the technology.

Hydrogen Station For Sale
The National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium, located at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, has opened the auction for their hydrogen fueling station. The auction is being held on GovDeals.com and will last for 30 days. The station includes a FuelGen 12kg/day electrolyzer, PDC-3 compressor, Kraus priority panel, Kraus dispenser, storage cylinders and fire and leak detection systems.

Automakers and California Agreement On Emission Reductions
