Learning Preference Survey
Due Wednesday, August 5th
While our schools are committed to safe, in-person and on campus learning this fall, we are poised to accommodate families who may decide that remote learning will be a more prudent alternative for their household.

In order to help us finalize plans for our reopening, we request that each school family complete our   Learning Preference Survey  to confirm their choice to opt for in-person or remote learning this fall. Learn more and find an overview of each learning option  in our survey here . The office kindly asks all families to please complete this form no later than Wednesday, August 5th. Questions may be directed to  [email protected] .
Before and After Care programming is being adapted with safety in mind this fall. After Care will be offered from 3-6pm beginning Tuesday, September 8th on both campuses for $15 per hour per family. Families who require care across two campuses will pay a single per family fee of $15 per hour for that coverage. At this time, school leadership is evaluating the safety and logistics of a Before Care program. An announcement regarding the return of Before Care coverage will be made by October 1st.

Please help us anticipate family demand of our After Care programs by taking a moment to  complete this After Care Family Survey  if your students will be utilizing this school service this fall.

SJS Website- Reopening Page

August is here and we are eagerly counting down the weeks until our community returns to campus for in person learning! Our traditional Back to School Page returns to our website in mid-August featuring exhaustive links and information all families need to be prepared for the school year.

In the interim, we invite families to visit  https://www.stjosephwilmette.com/reopening-faqs  for health and safety guidance, Reopening FAQ’s, and a catalog of communications leading up to fall recapping all decisions and conversation around preparations currently underway. Questions regarding reopening continue to be answered promptly at  [email protected] . Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we are called to put community first in support of the safety and wellness of teachers, students and their families.
The Health and Safety Committee has been hard at work planning for a safe return to campus this fall.
Regular updates will be shared across four key themes as we approach August 26th: Masks, Screening at Home, Arrival and Dismissal, and Health Procedures.

Please take a moment to review this week’s update  regarding the use of masks that provides detail about how and why they are important, and shares tips about proper use and which types of masks are recommended this fall.

Questions for the Health and Safety Committee may be directed to  [email protected] . Accumulated guidance and messaging from the Health and Safety Committee lives on the school’s website  here .
