Summer Bash is an end-of-summer party for participants, families and friends of NSSRA. We are looking for a few more actors and companions to join NSSRA's Bright Star Theatre Company this year! Actors can be at any level, and roles will be tailored for each participant (participants must be 16 or older). No experience is necessary to be a companion (companions must be 15 and older). Details here.

Recently we had the honor of accepting a check for $3,500 in proceeds from the hugely successful Wilmette Wine Walk in June!

PLACE (Public Library Access and Community for Everyone) programs welcome adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their parents and caregivers. Join in for a sensory-friendly viewing and discussion of the film “Cool Runnings.”

Goodman Theatre, Chicago

Come experience a sensory friendly performance designed to create a performing arts experience that is intended for families with members who have autism or other social, cognitive and physical challenges that create sensory sensitivities. Tickets start at $15 and are available here. Read more.
Tuesday, August 20 • 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Enjoy an inclusive and interactive storytime filled with stories, songs, sensory play, and socialization! Children of all abilities with their siblings and caregivers are welcome.
