Winter term: Monday, January 10–Monday, February 7, 2022
Join our study groups from anywhere you have an Internet connection! Our virtual classrooms will be held via Zoom and all study groups will follow our regular peer-led, highly interactive, social, and fun approach to learning.

In the spring term, we will return to our blended approach in which both in-person and virtual study groups will be available. Until then, enjoy the convenience and benefits of this virtual winter term.

Experienced co-coordinator needed for the following spring 7-week study group:

The Common Good – Coordinator Linda Sharp
(meets the second 7 weeks of the spring semester)

How can we come to care for the common good? Imagine an America that uproots inequality and builds a fairer society shaped by principles of justice. Using the text The Tyranny of Merit: What's become of The Common Good? by Harvard political philosophy professor Michael Sandel, we consider alternatives and rethink attitudes toward success and failure, winners, and losers, in the age of meritocratic elites.

Email olli@northwestern.edu if you are interested in co-coordinating this study group.
THANK YOU
Many OLLI Members have Included OLLI in their Year End Giving. Please Know, Your Gift Matters!
We encourage every member, at whatever level you are able, to contribute to the OLLI Member Fund.
Growing and Thriving: OLLI operates without profit. Membership fees cover just the basic operating expenses but do not cover the cost for our OLLI to grow and thrive.

Direct Impact on You: Unlike other types of giving, your contribution to OLLI has an immediate and direct impact on your personal experience. All gifts are used exclusively for your OLLI program on items like microphones, scholarships, event speaker honorarium, and virtual technology.
How to Give: Click the link below or drop off a check at the OLLI office; payable to Northwestern University, designate OLLI in the Memo field.

If you have questions about how to support your OLLI via a charitable distribution, donor advised fund, stocks/mutual funds, planned gift, or endowed funds, email Seema Rehmatullah, Associate Director of Development at seema.rehmatullah@northwestern.edu for assistance.

We appreciate your donation to the Member Fund at any level. A gift of $250 or more places you on the Lead Donor list.
