Confirming the November Learning Model

Liebe TCGIS Gemeinschaft,  This message is a follow-up to Sunday’s announcement of TCGIS’ learning model for November. As stated in that message, TCGIS will remain in “Stage 1” with Elementary School in hybrid and Middle School in distance learning with connection, which means that the Middle School WILL have a Connection Week during the week of Nov. 2-6. The image below is from page 3 of the Learning Model Transition Plan:

We are planning to revisit the necessity of distance learning weeks following breaks and will inform you immediately when a decision is made. Please weigh in on the survey coming this week!  As of now, the post-Halloween school calendar looks like this:

Nov 23-27: NO SCHOOL ALL WEEK! Monday: parent conferences, information forthcoming Tuesday & Wednesday: professional learning days Thursday & Friday: Thanksgiving Holiday Look for an announcement on the December learning model on November 16.  I hope this answers any lingering questions from the Sunday's announcement and ask for your patience and understanding as we work to keep you informed.  Thank you for all you're doing to support our educators and keep the community safe.
