In this week’s Tidbits, there is an exploration of practices for you to do, to strengthen gratitude as a practice.

The nature of desire and the realm of the hungry ghosts

  • For a week, write down all of your habits and desires and also record how you feel after fulfilling them
  • Gratitude is one of the ways, to heal the brain and the heart so when you diffuse your oil, and take your first deep breath, name 3 things that you are grateful for and bathe in the pleasure of that feeling for a moment, which will be enhanced by the delicious smell 

  • For all sorts of cravings: Place one toothpick, dipped in cinnamon, black pepper, clove and peppermint and put it in your mouth.
  • You can also place a drop of black pepper on the roof of your mouth
