FACESOFDEVOTION:
Our Lady of Guadalupe: In Our Mother's Arms
We are truly Mary’s children. She always carries us in her arms. See how invincible her love is. Hear her words. Then come to our Spanish Mass and Procession in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tuesday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. or 6:30 p.m., and be showered with her roses of grace.

Blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb, Jesus

The wonder of Christmas! This beautiful reflection, written in 1932 by Fr. Harry Deegan, CM, will bring you to the stable where Jesus, Mary, and Joseph spent the first Christmas. And it will immerse you in the deeper meaning of the day and the season.

Join our International Rosary at the Shrine on December 9 and unite your prayers to thousands of others, as we ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for the entire world. We’ll pray each decade of the Rosary in a different language; if you would like to lead a decade, please let us know.

Can’t make it on December 9? You can still join us virtually on Thursday, December 16, at 7:30 p.m. (ET) via The Miraculous Medal Shrine Facebook page. Contact Carolina Nemo with questions or prayer intentions to be placed at the foot of Mary’s altar.

Under Mary's Mantle

Join us at the Shrine on the first Monday of every month to delve into the beauty of our Catholic faith and help build a solid Catholic foundation for our preschool children (ages 3 to 5). Each month we'll focus on a particular topic and provide fun activities for kids and their parents or guardians. If you have any questions, contact Carolina Nemo.
Give your children the gift of enduring peace. When children are confronted with problems, prayer brings them comfort and helps them feel secure. For January, we’ll discuss prayer in a simple and easy way that kids (and even adults) can remember and apply in their lives. Then we’ll create a roll-up prayer card and prayer booklets to bring home. Enjoy nut-free and gluten-free snacks as well. This event is free, but registration is required to ensure we have enough materials for attendees.

Date: Monday, January 3, 2022
Registration deadline: Sunday, January 2

DIDYOUKNOW?
St. Thomas Aquinas has been quoted as saying, "The celebration of Holy Mass is as valuable as the death of Jesus on the Cross." That's because Jesus, who died on the Cross for us, is truly present in the Eucharist. He's not sacrificed again at the Mass; instead, we are entering into that moment where He offered Himself for us. It's the ultimate "time travel," the greatest prayer, and the most valuable activity we can participate in.

You can't give a more powerful gift to your loved ones this Christmas than your prayers for them united to the Mass.
