Children will enjoy some summer reading on their computer or device at NASA's Climate Kids, which features kid-friendly games and activities. Other good reads are: Hello World, which teaches children about the oceans and the creatures that live there; and The Tiny Seed in which children can follow a seed as it travels around the world.

UU Service Committee Action Days, Mon Aug 19 - Fri Aug 30
Throughout August, Congress will be in recess, and members of the House and Senate will be back in their home districts to meet with constituents. The UU Service Committee calls on us to schedule in-district visits with their Senators from August 19-30 to urge movement on key human rights legislation. Learn more HERE.

Fundraising for Sanctuary Church
In October 2018, South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry became the first sanctuary church in Westchester. They are raising funds to build a permanent apartment in their building to provide refuge for immigrant families while they fight their cases. Donate HERE.
