Voting by Mail?

Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, November 3, 2020. Ballots sent within the United States must be received by the Division by November 13, 2020. Ballots sent outside the United States must be recieved by November 18, 2020. The Division of Elections encourages voters to send their voted ballot back As Soon As Possible. The sooner you send your ballot back, the more confident you can be that it will arrive on time.
My family, through Usibelli Coal Mine, has been investing in Alaska for almost 80 years. We understand how business works up here, and we are proud of our record of putting Alaskans to work. That knowledge gained through decades of experience tells us Alaskans must vote no on Ballot Measure 1.

Alaska’s economy depends on a healthy business climate. Unfortunately, Ballot Measure 1 jeopardizes Alaska businesses, both small and large. It calls for increasing taxes on oil companies by up to 300%. I can assure you that if our State taxes were to increase that much, it would dramatically change my business plan, including reduced investment in exploration and production, as well as human resources.

Ampersand joins AlasConnect as a new addition to their brand family and launched October 1 to augment the AlasConnect brand by focusing on professional and technology consulting services. Ampersand will focus more on the intersection of people, process, and technology rather than on the physical assets that have comprised much of AlasConnect’s historical value proposition. They will continue to maintain the state of the art data center infrastructure and telecommunication services they have become renowned for, doing so through the AlasConnect brand, and Ampersand will bridge those assets with their client organization’s processes and people who leverage them in innovative ways. The investments they are making to strengthen and enhance their client experience coupled with their desire to grow both inside and outside of Alaska demanded bold moves. Their new brand is just the beginning.
