Saturday, September 26 (drop in 10am to 5pm)
FCBD, normally scheduled for the first Saturday in May, was cancelled for a reason I can't remember. :-) But fear not! If you swing by the adult ref desk between 10 and 5pm today, we will hand over a bag of 4 titles that were printed specifically for FCBD. One per patron and while supplies last.

Virtual Mother-Daughter Book Club
Monday, September 14, 6:00pm
For ages 8 to 12 years. Bring your dinner and enjoy visiting online with other book club members. We will play a game and discuss a different book each month. The first book will be available at the Circulation Desk when you register. This program will be in a Zoom format. 
Take, Read, and Create: Preschool Bunny Math
Pick up starting September 16
For ages 3 to 5 years.
Start teaching your child the concept of saving early to make it a habit. Thanks to our friends at Money Smart Week, we have a copy of SAVE IT! by Cinders McLeod to give to each person who signs up. We will also include a game along with your Moneybunny Book.
Take-and-Make STEM Kit Saturdays
New every other Saturday (Sept 19, Oct 3...)
For ages 5 to 12 years.
We'll have a new STEM kit available for pick-up every other week.  Stop by and get a neatly packaged kit containing everything you need for a simple STEM project.  Tweens 8 to 12 years will be able to do these on their own; younger children might ask for help from an adult.  
Virtual Parent-Son Book Club
Monday, September 21, 6:00pm
For ages 8 to 12 years.
Calling boys ages 8 to 12 to enjoy a monthly book discussion and game! Would you like to solve a mystery one month, survive an adventure the next, and laugh yourself silly after that? Bring a parent and a snack. We will be reading mystery, fantasy, adventure, classics and humor.
Preschool Family Fun Time
Tuesdays 10:30am: Sept 22, Sept 29, Oct 6
For families with preschool-aged children.
Bring your preschooler to the library for stories, movement and age appropriate hands-on learning. Each family group will have their own materials to work with and families will be at a safe distance from one another in order to follow Michigan Safe Start Guidelines.
Animal Antics Virtual Storytime
Thursdays at 10:30am: Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15

For ages 5 years and under.
Pick up your storytime kit at the library and take it home to learn together. This program is appropriate for children ages 5 and under. Ms. Janice will be reading stories with some of your favorite animals. We will point you to her silly video and then you can use the materials from our kit to learn and laugh together.

Robot Bowling
Saturday, September 26 (by appointment)
For ages 8 to 12 years.
Get to know our Dash & Dot robots. Learn how to make them move, light up, talk and even bowl. Sign up for a 45 minutes appointment with the robots. We will introduce you and give you basic instructions to begin learning how to program them.

Enjoy a great picture book in the great outdoors!
