WHAT IS LUNCH  BUNCH?
Lunch Bunch allows children to enjoy a packed lunch from home with their school friends followed by unstructured playtime. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to broaden their friendships and extend their school day.  Please do not send anything that contains nuts.

Bite Sized Science on Mondays

Young children often prefer kinesthetic learning and have a developmentally appropriate short attention span. This class is all about quick, hands on science experiments that will keep children interested while increasing their knowledge of the world around them. We will be sure to review the "don't try this at home" rule!

Snacks and Stories on Tuesdays

Many educators consider reading aloud to children to be the single most important activity to stimulate language and cognitive development. Our story time each Tuesday will be packed with quality literature, accompanied by a healthy theme related snack to further connect children to the story and build comprehension skills in a fun way.
Art Appreciation on Wednesdays

This class will move us beyond finger paints and into the worlds of Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Monet, and more. We will use classic works of art to learn skills such as observation and reflection. Learning how to appreciate and respect how we may all see and experience things differently will be a common theme.

Icky Sticky on Thursdays

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in this sensory class. Messy, sensory play is important for young children, giving them endless ways to create, express, and learn. We will use all of our senses to discover and explore fun mixtures and concoctions that we will make or invent.
Animal Babies on Fridays

Young children universally have an interest in animals. During this class we will explore animals and their young ones from around the world, while engaging in topics such as growth, change, and familial bonds.  Our journey will take us through a variety of locations such as rainforests, deserts, and the furthest corners of our oceans.
WHAT IS EXTENDED PLAY?
  • Extended Play runs each day from 2:00-3:00 PM. This allows for children who were in a 1:00-2:00 Enrichment class to remain at school until 3:00 PM. This also allows for our Eagles to remain until 3:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
