Executive Search Announcement:
Meghan Hunscher is named President of the
Morris County Chamber of Commerce
We are pleased to announce that Meghan Hunscher has been selected as the next president of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) .

The announcement follows a six-month search process facilitated by our firm and led by Search Committee Chair Ed Ahart, Partner at Schenck, Price, Smith & King LLP . Meghan will assume the role, held by longtime chamber President Paul Boudreau, when he retires on January 1, 2019.

“Dennis and Michele provided outstanding service to our Search Committee during this process," Ed notes. "Not only did they furnish us with a list of very qualified candidates from whom Meghan emerged as the selection to be the Chamber’s new President, they also offered wise and helpful counsel as to the process to follow, and they were in constant communication as to our needs. It was a pleasure to work with them.”

Since 2016, Meghan has served as Executive Director of the Morris County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), a division of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. She has increased membership and funding for the organization and worked closely with municipal leaders and other constituencies in Morris County and across the state on strategic economic development initiatives.

Meghan is very excited about taking on leadership of MCCC. "Speaking as a candidate, Dennis’ and Michele’s expertise was apparent from the initial screening process to the final round. I appreciated their clear description of the position and communication about the process. They are extremely knowledgeable about the type of attributes and leadership qualities needed to guide nonprofit organizations. All in all, it was a great experience.”

Meghan holds a master's degree in City & Regional Planning with a concentration in Economic Development from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also received her undergraduate degree with honors in Urban Studies. She has consulted for both municipal and private clients as a licensed Professional Planner and also served as Principal Planner, Zoning Officer and Economic Development liaison for the Township of Montville before joining MCEDC.

Please join us in congratulating Meghan on her new role. We are confident that she will be a terrific leader for the Morris County Chamber of Commerce!
