We're Proud To Announce A Newly Conserved Natural Urban Area In Alexandria

The small natural area in Alexandria is NVCT's seventh conservation easement held in the city. The land provides buffers to a stream, which will protect Cameron Run and the Potomac River's water quality! This site's preservation perfectly represents conservation in urban areas.

Political Roundtable Discussion Coming Soon

Usually at this time of year we would be hosting you at our annual gala event to celebrate conservation success and highlight the importance of preserving natural open spaces in Northern Virginia. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, we regret that such an event is not possible. To continue our tradition, we have decided to hold a virtual political roundtable in May with local and state legislators who will address climate change, land conservation, and the challenges and opportunities that lie before us.

Stay tuned for more information as registration will open soon!
