The One Health concept has been receiving increasing attention, support, and conversations across the world (Nigeria inclusive). In Nigeria, it is time to move the One Health conversation to action and evidenced-based implementation. This presentation will showcase the work being done by the One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI), a Nigerian-based nonprofit that works to address integrated issues of human, animal, and environmental health through a One Health approach. 
 
Engaging Communities in a One Health Approach to
Safe Water in Uganda

Access to safe water is a major public health issue, especially among the rural communities in Uganda. This presentation will highlight the work being done by the Rural Water Initiative for Climate Action (RWICA), a youth-led Uganda-based nonprofit with a goal to change mindsets toward living in harmony with nature and ecosystem restoration through One Health education and community engagement.
