Small Business Majority Webinar Regarding Loan Guarantee Program
Small Business Majority, Working Solutions and Pacific Community Ventures are hosting a free on-demand webinar regarding an affordable alternative to the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan.

The webinar will help businesses secure disaster loans or other fair loan products designed to meet the needs of small business owners of color and women. Topics of discussion include:

• Micro-loan programs for less than $50k
• Disaster Loan and State Loan Guarantee Program
• How CDFIs work with borrowers that may have been turned down for SBA bank loans
• How to find your local community lender, Q&A
Lowe's-LISC Small Business Relief Grants
Grants of $20,000 will be offered to qualifying small business owners to help meet their most immediate needs. The next round of applications opens on August 31. Eligible expenses include:
• Paying rent and utilities
• Meeting payroll
• Paying outstanding debt to vendors
• Upgrading technology infrastructure
• Other immediate operational costs

Give-A-Bag Food Drive Aug. 27
The Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Family Assistance Ministries to help feed families left hungry from the pandemic by hosting a "Give-A-Bag" Drive-Through food drive on Thursday, August 27.

Bring a bag of nonperishable food items to the Laguna Niguel Presbyterian Church from 5:30-6:30 pm to benefit local families in need.

The church is located at 30071 Ivy Glenn Drive.

To support our local businesses, the City continues to spotlight businesses and restaurants through our Featured Business program, designed to highlight the spectacular restaurants, stores, establishments and brick-and-mortar companies in good standing that are the fabric of this dynamic community.
