Costa Mesa Youth Theater Decides the Show Must Go On, Even During the Coronavirus Pandemic

By now you know the sad story: live performances are yet another victim of the coronavirus. Like so many other activities where people gather together and enjoy themselves, presenting a show is now too risky to contemplate.

But that didn't stop Chelsea Braverman. Her youth theater company, Costa Mesa's Braver Players, will present their latest creation, a full production of the musical "Jekyll & Hyde," in a responsible, safe way that respects social distancing and other requirements of pandemic-era performing.

Muslims in Orange County Adjust Eid Traditions to Adapt to the Coronavirus Pandemic

The coronavirus will not stop Eid al-Adha celebrations in Orange County but it will change how those celebrations take place.

In Orange County, Muslims celebrate Eid al-Adha by dressing up and going to the mosque in the morning to pray in community. When the prayer is over, members of the community hang out at the mosque. Kids receive gifts and get money.

Panoringan: Orange County Bartenders Cabinet's Perspective of Coronavirus

One of the notable trends I've witnessed with regards to food service since sheltering in place has been how the beverage industry is being affected. Arts Orange County is pleased to combine its recommendations for online enrichment with some good news about places you can now visit personally. ArtsOC and Voice of OC continue to urge everyone to follow the State and County's current precautionary guidelines as they venture out. Masks and distancing save lives.
