Meet Olivia!
Olivia Maley, graduated with her Bachelors in Social Work from Georgia State, comes to us by way of Street Grace, where she helped lead research into sex trafficking of minors. Beforehand, she spent several years working on the Atlanta Youth Count ,  collaborating with local organizations and universities to better understand the lives of the Atlanta’s homeless youth. While she began as a street outreach volunteer with StandUp For Kids, Olivia now excitedly joins us as the Associate Director of Mentoring in North Fulton!
Meet Jorge!
Jorge Mendoza, graduated with a degree in Theology from Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, Ca and has focused much of his career on youth in crises. His background includes working with gangs, incarcerated youth and serving in immigrant communities. His passion is homeless youth and children in foster care. He has worked with Chris 180, California Youth Outreach, North American Mission Board and Emaus Church. Jorge is an accomplished public speaker and is eager to both serve the youth of South Fulton and to contribute to the mission of StandUp For Kids as Associate Director of Mentoring for South Fulton!
Standing Up and Standing out with new T-Shirts
The street outreach program receives new T-Shirts with our new logo!
Big thank you from StandUp!
Thank you to our long time street outreach counselor Dr. Michael Ly and Georgia Healthy Family Alliance for hosting a health forum at dinner with our young people on the streets. Topics covered smoking cessation and sleep hygiene. Through Georgia Healthy Family Alliance, nicotine replacement products were provided to attendees that are nicotine dependent. ‘Sleep kits’ including sleep shades, sleepy time tea, & melatonin were available to aid participants in getting better rest. We had 15 kids participate and are asking when we will do it again!
Socks, socks and more socks!

Thank you to Bombas for selecting StandUp for Kids-Atlanta to receive 1000 pair of socks designed specifically for homeless. Their generous giving program donates a pair of socks for every pair sold. We are so excited to have these high quality socks to keep our kids feet warm and prevent blisters
Goal Cards Needed
