June 2 Open House

You're invited to attend an open house to view design alternatives for improvements on 198th Avenue between Farmington Road and TV Highway.

Date: Thursday, June 2, 2016

Time: 5 - 7 p.m.

 Location: Edwards Aloha Community Center
 
No formal presentation is planned - stop by anytime during open house hours.

Project Information 

This project will improve 198th Avenue to include a center turn lane between TV Highway and Farmington Road.
 
Additional improvements include continuous bike lanes and sidewalks along both sides of the road, safety enhancements at intersections, street lighting, landscaping and storm drainage system upgrades.

In addition to the improvements on SW 198th Ave, the project will evaluate potential improvements at the Blanton / Kinnaman intersection.
 
Construction is anticipated to begin summer 2018.
