Northland takes sanitation seriously
We are continuing to do our part to make Northland as safe an environment as possible. On Saturday, Northland’s custodial contractor sprayed an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces over the entire Northland campus. This safe preventative measure uses a specialized solution that contains positively charged particles that adhere to surfaces and disinfect them. Please see the photos and video below.

Northland staff are regularly cleaning surfaces throughout the day and encouraging good hygiene, mask wearing and social distancing amongst our students. After a great first three days, we ask that you continue to do your part to keep our students, teachers and each other healthy.

Families are expected to self screen for COVID-19 each day. This ensures that we can all be safe and safely operate school.

Students will not be permitted on campus under the following circumstances:

  • If they or any family member have tested positive for COVID-19 or been diagnosed by a physician with COVID-19 based on symptoms (staff and students will be required to undergo a quarantine period to ensure they are not contagious)
  • If they or their family have had close contact (within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes) with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms
  • Anyone with a fever of 100 F or over, or anyone displaying any of the following symptoms will be asked to stay home until they are symptom-free as outlined by the protocol below:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills or shaking
  • Muscle aches or pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue
  • Feverishness

Thank you for doing your part for us to continue to have a healthy school.
