Adult Religious Education Session to begin at St Anthony Church
|
Are you ready to become a Catholic or are you missing a Sacrament? Would you like to rejuvenate your understanding of the Catholic Faith?
Becoming Catholic is one of life’s most profound and joyous experiences. Some are blessed enough to receive this great gift while they are infants, while others enter the Catholic fold when they are older children or adults. A person is brought into full communion with the Catholic Church through reception of the three Sacraments of Christian Initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist.
If you wish to refresh your understanding of the Roman Catholic Faith or receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation, here is your opportunity!
Adults 18 and older are invited to attend these classes. Your journey begins on Thursday December 2nd at 7:00 in the Parish Center. The course outline will be: A tour of the Church, use of the Missalette, Introduction to the Gospels; a study of the Christmas stories, a look at the Liturgical Year, and an examination of the Seven Sacraments of the Church. Class instructor will be Deacon Domenic.
For more information or to register for this class, please see Deacon Domenic, call the Parish Center at 758-4056, ext. 10 or email: stanthonyadmin@comcast.net

The Stewardship Committee at St. Anthony church oversees all of the ministries with the exception of the Finance Council. This committee plans events such as the Ministry Leader Meetings, Volunteer Appreciation gatherings, and guest speakers. Rebuilding our volunteer pool is a high priority this year given the effects of Covid.
If you have any questions, suggestions and/or would like to serve on this committee, please contact Diana Veneri at veneridiana96@gmail.com. This committee meets the second Monday of the month, September through June at 7:00 in the Parish Center.
