Included in QP24 are the following SIX wines:

Lingua Franca "Avni"
Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir 2018
This thrilling Pinot Noir comes from Larry Stone's new estate in the Willamette Valley. Working in conjunction with Dominique Lafon, Lingua Franca is one of the most exciting new producers in Oregon. Expect big things!
93/100 - Wine Spectator (3/31/2021)
92/100 - Wine & Spirits (10/2020) "Drawn from mostly Eola–Amity Hills vineyards, including Larry Stone’s estate, this is youthful and brisk, with a light red-cherry scent lined by oak. The plum flavors have an earthiness that brings the wine to a darker hue, emphasized by weighty and mineral tannins and a barrel element that will need time to tuck into the wine."

Di Costanzo "DI CO"
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
A beautiful "Old School" Napa Cabernet from former Screaming Eagle winemaker, Massimo Di Costanzo!
94/100 - Our Score (12/2021)
91-94/100 - Vinous, Antonio Galloni (12/2020) "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon DI CO is a dark, dense wine. Black cherry, gravel, espresso, savory herbs and menthol infuse the 2019 with tons of complexity and nuance. It is a very serious and potent second wine that would give many top bottlings a run for their money. The DI CO emerges from the Raphael Vineyard in Oak Knoll."

Salcheto
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2016
#26 - Wine Spectator "Top 100" Wines of 2021!
94/100 - Wine Spectator (9/30/2021) "Boasting ripe black cherry, blackberry, floral and licorice flavors, this red is expressive and balanced. Firm tannins offer structure as this remains on the elegant side, lingering with echoes of fruit, wild herbs and mineral. Drink now through 2032. 1,250 cases made, 400 cases imported."

Domaine Drouhin "Arthur"
Dundee Hills Chardonnay 2019
The 2019 vintage in Oregon is a BIG deal. When we learned about this bottling from Domaine Drouhin, we snapped it up fast. It's not every day you're able to get a 97-Point Chardonnay from one of the first families of Burgundy!
97/100 - Wine Advocate (12/16/2021) "The 2019 Chardonnay Arthur is pure, precise and extraordinarily pretty this vintage, with expressive key lime, pencil lead and saline aromas, plus wafts of spring flowers and beeswax. The stunning palate combines creamy texture and fresh tang, gently honeyed fruits and citrusy uplift, which make for a very long, energetic finish. It's the best iteration of the Arthur cuvée I've tried. Drink Date: 2022 - 2037."

Château de Thauvenay
Sancerre 2020
What lineup would be complete with a classic bottle of Sancerre? Along with Champagne, there is currently a shortage in Chicago of Loire Valley whites. Fortunately, we had this bottling from the Bollinger family imported just for us!
90+/100 - Our Score (12/2021) Château de Thauvenay is owned by the Bollinger family of Champagne fame. Tempting flavors of green apple, tangerine, subtle grapefruit and apple blossom jump from the glass along with hints of tarragon, bell pepper, chalk and rocky-earth minerals. Offering Sancerre's telltale tension and lift balanced with medium-plus acidity, results in a picture-perfect combination of roundness and classic energy.

Guido Berlucchi "61"
Franciacorta Brut Rosé NV
Median online price for this Wine Spectator "Top 100" winner is $40!
91/100 - Wine Spectator (4/30/2021) "Enticing aromas and flavors of ripe strawberry and raspberry fruit are set on the fine, lively bead in this clean-cut, mouthwatering rosé, with a chalky underpinning. Lightly spiced on the lingering finish. Drink now through 2024."
