AUGUST ABUNDANCE AT ST MARK'S
Greetings!

After another full and festive July, we enter the hot, mid-summer August nights full of dreams and days full of renewal.

Thanks again to all who made July so successful. We estimate that well over 3,000 members, friends and visitors came through our doors to experience our St. Mark's hospitality at the many quality services and events. For some of the many fabulous Craig McLean pictures taken click here.

Thanks go to the hundreds of volunteers for the Cherry Festival weekend which raised more than $54,000, the Concert Committee for the amazing Guernsey Music Centre night , all of the Music Niagara concerts with their Performance Academy in house overseen by Roxanne, and to Jim for the Special Summer Musical Sunday Services, from the Jazz Mass with John Sherwood to the Brass on the Grass with The Rondeau Quintet . This Sunday we finish the summer series at 10:30 with Curtis Sullivan, a bass-baritone and good friend of Jim Bourne's, with lemonade and smoked salmon at the Rectory after! All are welcome and bring a friend.

Now for August, see below for information on the various services, news and events upcoming. As well, mark the dates for special events planned for September including the visit of our Bishop Susan Bell on September 15.

Blessings to all! May you find peace of the Lord, and the rest and renewal that comes in these mid summer nights and days.
