President's Message
Dear Coaches!

Happy New Year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season.

As I sit and write my first President's letter for 2019, I am amazed at how quickly 2018 passed by and how much we accomplished in a year. Thank you for making my first year as president so welcoming, exciting, and an experience I never expected. It's been a year of learning, growth, self-exploration, and new relationships.

We want to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Susan Ginsberg O'Sullivan, Carolyn Carlson, and Sue Negrey who are stepping off the Board after completing their terms as Director of Special Events, Treasurer, and Director of Professional Development. Their efforts contributed to our successful programming and growth over the last few years. I also want to thank the rest of the Board, who gave their time, energy and passion to the leadership of the chapter. And, thank you to our committee members. You enabled us to take our chapter to the next level.

As we say goodbye to some, I want to welcome our new 2019 board members: Benjamin Jooste (Director of Community Outreach), Eleonora Barbieri (Director of Content Development/Management and Marketing), Isilay Cabuk (Treasurer), and Erin Hyland who will be transitioning to Director of Professional Development. We are so excited about the energy, talent and expertise that each brings to the board.

It seems appropriate to reflect a bit on the past year. Marking some of our achievements, we:
  • Introduced our volunteer committee member program
  • Offered exciting and diverse professional development programs
  • Grew ICF Credential holders to 444
  • Expanded chapter membership to 800 plus members
  • Expanded CoachCafe! sessions to five locations
  • Launched our new chapter website with full management capabilities
  • Recharged our social media presence
