ALL SOULS: A GATHERING OF SPIRITS
REV. FLORENCE CAPLOW

Our November Soul Matters theme is “Attention”. Join us on November 3rd for a poignant service to honor those who have passed away and yet live on in our hearts and memories. Bring photos, mementos, or cards for our annual candle lighting ritual. The ushers will have blank cards at the door as well. The UUCUC Choir will be singing and this will be our Music Director Matt Sheppard’s last Sunday with us.

UPCOMING SUNDAY SERVICES
MAKING THE CONNECTIONS
REV. SCOTT AASENG
Sunday, November 10 at 10:15 a.m. in Sanctuary

In a world where everything seems like it’s coming apart, we are called to make connections – between faith and action, between ourselves and others, between humans and the earth – and live out the interdependence we claim.

Rev. Scott Aaseng serves as Executive Director of our statewide UU justice network, the Unitarian Universalist Advocacy Network of Illinois (UUANI).

UUANI OVERVIEW AFTER THE SERVICE
The Unitarian Universalist Advocacy Network of Illinois (UUANI) provides UUs across the state with advocacy and legislative leadership to build community and power to promote justice and a healthy planet. Join Rev. Scott Aaseng, Executive Director, in the Library after the service (11:30 a.m.) on November 10 to learn more about UUANI and its campaigns, and share what UUCUC is doing to bring about meaningful change.
