FCAL members voted in a new Slate of Officers at the league’s first general meeting of the 2019-2020 season. Members of the new and outgoing Officers teamed up for a commemorative photo!

Artist of the Year Nominees
The reception for both shows will be Saturday, October 12th from 6-8 p.m.  As usual, please bring a dish to share and FCAL will provide the beverages. But wait there's more! 

C ome early and meet the GAF Artist of the Year Nominees. There will be an Artist Talk from 5-5:45 p.m. before the Reception officially begins at 6pm.

COLORED PENCIL SOCIETY MEETING
Bill Shoemaker Demonstration
The monthly meeting of the Colored Pencil Society of America DC 117 will be held October 20, 2019, 1pm at the Flagler County Art League.

Nationally recognized artist, Bill Shoemaker, CPSA, will conduct a demonstration using an Icarus Board. Bill is a local artist known for his beautiful wildlife art. He has introduced many artists to the Fine Art medium of Color Pencil through classes and private lessons. Time will be allowed for participants to practice or use for their artwork.

Dex Westphal’s Work Featured at Two Shows
Dex was the featured artist at Salvo Arthouse in Bunnell at Salvo’s September 21 Open House.

The following weekend, Dex and Rachel Thompson exhibited their work together at a dual event at Uncaged on Oceanshore, a restaurant off Route A1A in Palm Coast.
Kathleen Kelly Show
Kathleen Kelly greets guests at her opening at the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in Philadelphia. The show launched in July and continues through October 17.
