When you support MHAV you are supporting the mental health of all Virginians.

Whether you participated in our services, donated your time or financial support, or helped to spread the message that mental health is part of everyone's health we want to say we appreciate you and every act of generosity counts!

There's still time to make a charitable year-end gift. As you may know a majority of Virginians are dealing with degrees of anxiety, stress, or fear in ways we never expected. Thanks to our dedicated staff, partners, and supporters, we have responded by boosting our state wide Peer Warm Line and finding new ways to serve more people. For a brief overview of our services please go here to learn more.

In the last quarter alone we answered over 1,000 calls/texts to our Peer Warm Line for mental health support - 56% were first time callers.

A record 12,943 Virginians took an MHA screen for a mental health condition during the same period.

Please consider donating and help support people who might be struggling this holiday season. Your Support Will Go A Long Way:
  • $33 provides one person with Warm Line peer support and recovery resources.
  • $100 gives a presentation or webinar on staying mentally healthy to a company's employees.
  • $250 provides Warm Line wallet cards (English and Spanish) to 3,000 people in underserved communities.
  • $500 sends a crime trauma survivor to our 3 day/night recovery and resilience training.

Our very best wishes for a happy holiday season and safe and healthy New Year!
