HappyFeet Soccer for PreK & Kindergarten Students (Note: This has moved to Thursday, August 22nd)
HappyFeet Soccer is back this year! We will be having a free trial class on Thursday, August 22nd from 3:30-4:00 p.m. The 30-minute soccer class is open to any Pre-K and Kindergarten students who would like to try it out. HappyFeet Soccer is specifically designed to encourage the rapidly developing imagination of children. Class curriculum uses popular stories, songs, rhymes, adventures and fun games to teach young players real soccer skills. Our unique philosophy and approach to soccer builds confidence, inspires courage & builds upon gross motor skills. During the weekly 30-minute class, each child will have a soccer ball at his/her own feet throughout the entire time. Our trained coach will lead class with a different curriculum each week that incorporates a specific soccer skill in a manner that is fun & engaging for kids. Coach Josh will be the lead instructor. He is the HappyFeet Director & has played soccer since the age of three. He continued on with the sport through coaching at the collegiate level & is passionate about inspiring even the youngest of players.
Following the free class, regular classes will start on Friday, September 6th and continue weekly at the same day & time (Fridays from 3:30-4:00 p.m.) throughout the school year. Classes will be held outside whenever possible with a designated indoor space, if needed. The cost is $40/month and more details on registering will be sent home. Parents are welcome to observe at the free trial or any class!
For more information you can contact Angela Teters (Summit parent & Assistant Director at HappyFeet) at 417-501-6019 or angela@springfieldhappyfeet.com.
