Meet our Board Members
Caroline Markham

This month, we invite you to meet Caroline Markham. Caroline has been on the board of the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce for several years. She now serves as the P resident of Board of Directors.

Caroline attended the University of North Carolina where she studied the social work profession. With over 20 years in the field she has worked in Yanceyville at the Brian Center for years before transitioning to Danville for a bit. For the last three years she has returned back to the Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation and holds the position of Social Service Manager.

As a Caswell native, Caroline is a true supporter of the County and represents the facility in various ways. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family.

Youth-Led Initiatives

I n support of the work being done by the Caswell County Health Department, the Caswell Chapter of The Health Collaborative recently hosted a conversation among community members and stakeholders to consider ways of expanding access to youth activities.

That group agreed that Caswell's youth should be at the center of these efforts - leading the way in community engagement, program development, and promotion. It was decided that a countywide Youth Steering Committee could provide that leadership space. They are inviting interested youth and additional community members and stakeholders to attend a virtual meeting on Tuesday, July 14th at 10:30am to discuss how that committee might be structured and next steps.
