Breathe Om Yoga at The Pilates Connexion

Have you heard the news? Breathe Om Yoga has joined the team at The Pilates Connexion! Join them at an Open House on First Friday from 5-8 pm.
Meet the staff, learn more about yoga or pilates, and try a Breathe, Stretch, Flow yoga class from 6-7 pm. Cost is $12.

at the Swarthmore Campus & Community Store. We'll supply decorative papers, adhesive, and instructions.
Bring your creativity and your own spiral or composition notebook, or buy one from us. Adhesive is not recommended for 3-ring binders so leave those at home. Decorative supplies are free of charge and this event is open to all.

This Month at Indigo Healing Arts Collective
The new Fall schedule at Indigo Healing Arts Collective will include a 7:30 am power flow class entitled
Fiery Flow which begins on September 5. During the month of September, Indigo will donate 50% of the profits from this class to
Amazon Watch - a charity committed to saving the Amazon rainforest.
Advanced Pilates Mat Series
September 13 - October 18, 10 am
If you are a Pilates enthusiast and have significant experience in beginner Mat work, please join Angel in a six week series that focuses on progressing your Pilates Mat training. The first two weeks of instruction, students will learn transitions and techniques of new exercises in the intermediate and advanced Mat sequence. The last four weeks will focus on rhythm, precision and flow. This class is advanced and welcomes students with significant Pilates experience.
Six-week registration is encouraged but not required. $150 for the entire series. Drop-in cost $30.
Guided Meditation, Hands On Healing & Sound Bath Concert
September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12 | 6:30-7:45 pm
We welcome you with love and gratitude to join us for a four month series of transformation on many levels. Each workshop crafted by Alana and Terry will offer Guided Meditation, Hands On Healing, and a Sound Bath Concert. Classes may include, but are not limited to Tibetan singing bowls, crystal chakra bowls, drums, rattles, rain sticks, four direction chimes, and Tibetan tingsha bells.
Registration for the series is encouraged. This workshop is offered on the 2nd Thursday of the month. Please arrive by 6:15 pm to settle in. $120 for the entire series.
Drop-ins are welcome for an exchange of $35.
New Moon Goddess Circle
September 28, 1-3:30 pm
You're invited to join Danielle to celebrate the Autumn turn of the season and connect deeply in reverence to the Earth and Moon with other like-minded souls. We will be exploring themes of letting go, gratitude, harvest and release. Circle includes all materials, guidance and refreshments. As always, this offering is open for women or anyone who identifies with being a woman, trans, non-binary or other forms of identification connected to the feminine. Exchange is $30.

earn the ancient beauty ritual of facial gua sha, a practice that supports your health and glow at the same time. Facial gua sha relaxes tension in facial muscles, increases circulation and lymphatic drainage resulting in a relaxed and sculpted face. You will leave this class with an at home facial gua sha routine that includes key acupuncture points to augment your results. This class is appropriate for beginners or those familiar with facial gua sha, but looking to take their routine to the next level. The cost is $75 and only 7 spots remain.

Songs of the Underground Railroad

Nancy Webster has worked for social justice causes since her youth. She was shot and jailed while helping to register voters on Eastern Shore Maryland in 1964. A highly engaging speaker, Nancy Webster was named Delaware County Historian in 1988. The Principal Planner with the County Planning Department for 25 years, she was head of historic preservation and won state and national awards. A Delaware County native, Nancy holds a BA from Harvard, and a double MA in American history and museum curatorship from the College of William and Mary.
The Trials, Triumphs, and Tragedies of the Early Abstract Expressionists

Fred Dixon and his wife Martha were long term docents at the Barnes Foundation. They have collected art for 35 years and have traveled to many of the most important museums in the U.S. and Europe and cathedrals in Italy to view Renaissance and Baroque art. Fred's book 700 years of Art History : Pre-Renaissance to Modernism will be available at this event at a discounted price of $35.
