WEDNESDAY ENVELOPES:  Today's Wednesday Envelope has some important information in it for you to review. Your family WED envelope is sent home every Wednesday with your oldest child. Most weeks, it has nothing in it. It is your vessel to return forms, notes, etc. back to school. Your Family Envelope is to be returned, by your child, to their teacher by FRIDAY of every week - even if it is empty.

FAMILY NAME PLACARDS - In today's WED envelope are your FAMILY NAME PLACARDS  to be used for afternoon dismissal. We are asking that ALL families who pick up 1st - 8th graders after-school, to please display their name placard in the right front corner of your windshield, every day. We have found that dismissal goes much smoother if our staff can quickly identify an approaching vehicle and call for the student. The placard should easily fit in your glove box or side console.
Madagascar Jr. Auditions coming up!  Scroll down for all the info.
MORNING PARKING REMINDER
Parents, PLEASE do not park in the Faculty parking lot. The numbered spaces are assigned to a staff member. Do Not Park There.   Thank You.

AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP REMINDER

Do not leave your car in the traffic circle unattended.

1st - 8th parents - PLEASE do not arrive on campus until AFTER 2:40pm. Trust us when we say, timing will be everything!

CN dismisses at 2:25pm and SR parents can not be lined up in the parking lot until AFTER 2:40PM.   We can not block the flow of traffic for CN dismissal.
PLEASE share this information with all who pick up your children.

A Note from Mrs. Ryan
Dear Parents,

Welcome Back! "Hope Leads Us To Happiness With God" is our theme for the new school year. Through the study of this theological virtue, we want to bring a deeper understanding of the mysterious reality of hope to our students. The lesser virtues we will be studying each month under the umbrella of hope include studiousness, humility, patience, fidelity, temperance, cheerfulness, obedience, and diligence. These virtues, which make us better Christians and more successful people, will be studied school wide. Although the particular saint that is associated with each virtue changes with grade levels, the entire school will be studying the same virtue at the same time. The virtue of the month makes for great dinner table or bedtime discussion with your children.

This morning Fr. Michaelraj, our new pastor, was present with us at morning assembly. He is very excited to be pastor of a parish with a Catholic school and is looking forward to getting to know us all.

I'm looking forward to a great school year. If you have not already done so, please mark your calendars for September 12 th, which is our Back to School Night. Attending this event is one of the most important things you can do to ensure that your child has a successful year of learning and growth.

Uniform update:
PE Shorts
We have gone to a new manufacture that will be more consistent throughout all grades.  You may notice the shorts may seem shorter than the previous. We don't want anyone worrying about the length not falling into the 'at the knee length' category as we expect for the uniform walking short, skirt, jumper or skort.  However, students are not allowed to roll up the waist to make them shorter. You may continue wearing the PE shorts previously purchased until your child grows out of them.
PE Sweatpants
You will notice there is no longer elastic at the bottom of the PE sweatpants. This was a decision made by the school administration. This will be the last year the students may wear the old sweatpants with elastic. The PE sweatpants are optional. After this year school year, please purchase the new version.
