Pitchcraft 2019 Applications Are Open!
Pitchcraft 2019, Downtown Frederick's second annual placemaking competition, invites creative people from every background, profession and city to pitch an idea that, if physically implemented in Downtown Frederick, will better connect the people and places of our community. Pitches must be received by August 25, 2019.

The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce's Women in Business Committee is proud to announce the launch of S.H.E. Week, a week of events celebrating the Strength, Heart and Equality of women in Frederick County!

Two Frederick County Towns Nominated for 2019 Top Adventure Towns!
Frederick and Thurmont are both in the running for the 2019 Top Adventure Town!  The contest runs until September 23, and winners will be featured both online and in the November issue of Blue Ridge Outdoors.

Dr. Christopher Mclean, Gary Nabors, Kara Norman and Peter Oykman  are the Top 50 CEOs highlighted this month.

The Top 50 CEO list includes criteria based on the CEO's individual responses on the following: Strategic leadership concepts, Significant growth under his or her leadership, Number of employees, Tenure, Company's turnover rate, Company's median salary, Number of nominations the CEO received and CEO's involvement in the community.
