When the 2020 Hospital Expenditure Report was released January 15, 2020 by the Department of Health Care Policy and Finance (the Department), it was indicated that a subsequent addendum would be released later this year. With help from our hospital partners, the Department has collected the data, completed the analysis and has finalized the 2020 Hospital Expenditure Report addendum.

The addendum has been issued and is now available to the general public on the Department's Hospital Transparency website. For all those looking to view the report in its entirety please locate the report on the website above, under the "Reports" section.

The 2020 Hospital Expenditure Report addendum is laid out as follows:

1. The body of the report contains the analysis of the data provided;

2. Appendix A contains maps detailing the regional analysis;

3. Appendix B contains a glossary of major components;

4. Appendix C contains hospital submission status;

5. Appendix D contains data is grouped by DOI region and hospital bed size        groups.
