NISD Students, Staff, and Families –

Like most of you, we are very aware of the growing numbers of positive COVID cases in the district. We have also received new guidance from both the CDC and the Texas Education Agency this week, and we are working to analyze both sets of recommendations and decide what we feel will be the most appropriate for our campuses. Expect a Superintendent Update on Friday that will announce the next phase of COVID protocols for the district as we continue to fight against the Coronavirus.

Estamos conscientes al igual que la mayoría de ustedes, del creciente número de casos positivos de COVID en el distrito. Esta semana recibimos nuevas indicaciones tanto del CDC como de la Agencia de Educación de Texas y estamos trabajando para analizar ambos conjuntos de recomendaciones y decidir cuál creemos que será el más apropiado para nuestras escuelas. Este Viernes, este al pendiente de una Actualización del Superintendente que anunciará la próxima fase de los protocolos COVID para nuestro distrito. Continuaremos luchando contra el Coronavirus.
