Note: Many of SPAAR's classes provide Minnesota real estate continuing education. Continuing education courses must be attended in their entirety in order to receive credit for the number of approved hours (MN Statute 45.30 Subd.4a).  See full list of classes here .
2020 annual sponsorship opportunities are available

SPAAR will be mailing out its 2020 annual sponsorship booklets to all primary Affiliate members this month. The booklets highlight upcoming events and the sponsorship opportunities to match.

Ford Site open house discussions are this month in Saint Paul

Members are welcome to join SPAAR advocacy staff at two upcoming open houses during the draft Ford Site plan review comment period. The Ford Site is 139 acres along the Mississippi River in the Highland Park neighborhood of Saint Paul, located south of Ford Parkway and east of the Mississippi River.

The upcoming event on Tuesday, August 20, from 6-8pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 700 Snelling Avenue S,, will cover natural and built environment; land use; geology; water resources; animal species; visual impacts; air; noise; and more.

The Tuesday, August 27 event from 6-8pm at Highland Park Community Center, 1978 Ford Parkway, will focus on transportation.

Complete your Required Module and Code of Ethics in the same day

It's almost time for back to school! Check off all of your requirements in one day at SPAAR's Requirement Blitz on September 27.

The Requirement Blitz will ensure you complete  3.75 CE Hours for the 2019/20 Required Module: Agency, Fair Housing, and Energy Efficiency as well as 
2.5 CE Hours for the 2019/20 NAR Code of Ethics.
 
Not able to commit to September? SPAAR will offer Requirement Blitzes in October, January, February and March, as well. Keep an eye on SPAAR's calendar for more detail.

Interested in Toastmasters? Come check it out!

All are welcome to SPAAR's Toastmasters club, which meets twice a month!

Toastmasters is a great way to gain professional development by improving speaking skills, gaining leadership experience, learning how to efficiently run a meeting from start to finish and networking with others in the industry. 

Meetings take place the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 1-2pm at SPAAR's 325 Roselawn Avenue East location. Interested to learn more or join? If so, contact Jennifer at  jkovacich@spaar.com. The next meeting takes place on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

SPAAR Squad is here to help! Our staff members are available to attend meetings and speak about a variety of relevant topics. SPAAR staff will also provide onsite training (some with free CE) for groups of 25 or more.
