As broken border policies endure and escalate, people in migration face heightened risks of trauma, increased human rights abuses, and systematic denial of their legal rights. This symposium will consider the impact of U.S. foreign policy on forced migration and highlight the adverse psychological, legal, and personal impacts of border policies.
