IMPORTANT SUPPLY AND PRICING UPDATES
Forgive me if this update sounds like we are trying to scare you. We are not, we are just trying to lower your high expectations to the new reality of 2021…
The challenges are piling up, so brace yourself! You may already be experiencing fuel price increases. If you are going to be doing a project in the next few months, DO NOT ASSUME you will be able to get the materials as easy as last year. HDPE resin used to make pipe and fittings is in a Force Majeure situation. PVC Pipe and resin to make fittings is close to it. Wire prices are close to all time highs. Valves and fittings are all experiencing price increases. If it has value and cost money, chances are good this year that something is affecting it and that it will cost more money this year than last year. The best thing you can do is reach out to your Territory Manager as soon as possible to give us as much notice as you can so we can start procuring what you will need for when you will need it.
GET YOUR TOOLBOX READY
Reach out to your Territory Manager today to get your order in queue for what you will need this spring. You don’t have to take the order right now, just let us know what you want, and we can get it in the works and hold it for when you need it. With the challenges mentioned (above). Make sure you are ready! TORO SPECIAL PROGRAMS CONTINUE FOR NOW
For now, all Toro programs continue and there has been brisk use of them. If you are planning to utilize any, please do not delay. We don’t know how long they will continue due to component shortages and other logistic challenges our vendors are facing. Click here for a quick summary of what the savings are.
BOARD EXCHANGE PROGRAM
This is just a friendly reminder that it is time to get your Board Exchange parts organized and ready for the season. Not sure what you need or how to get it? Click here for a form with pictures of each field controller and pricing to make it as easy as possible.
START UP YOUR IRRIGATION SYSTEM SLOWLY
Make sure you have a few of the 995-102 Riser Hold Up Tools in stock to "snap on" to sprinklers in areas where you may have a lot of water hammer as the system fills. This tool allows for a high volume of water and air to be evacuated from the system quickly and eliminates the need for removing ANY conversion assemblies from the bodies during system startup.
