The National Institutes of Health recently
announced a requirement that all individuals supported by research training, fellowship, research education and career development awards will be required to have ORCID iDs (Open Researcher and Contributor Identifiers) in FY2020. All faculty, fellows, students and administrators are asked to adopt use of ORCID iDs as soon as possible as ORCID iDs already integrate with SciENcv and NCBI.
