Restoring Hope
RHTH Reunion Update
RHTH Family Reunion Sept 8: Early Registration Ends Soon!
Hello Friends,

Our first ever Restoring Hope Transplant House Family Reunion is quickly approaching and it has been wonderful to hear responses from our guests, supporters and friends about their plans to attend.  A quick reminder that the early registration deadline is on August 26th to guarantee an event t-shirt and help us get a better idea for how much food is needed.  Please register with the info below ASAP.  Sending an email to Cindy to indicate your interest in attending would also be helpful if you haven't yet had a chance to register.  We appreciate your help with this and look forward to seeing you soon!
RHTH Guest & Lions Club Friends Band To Appear
Live Music at RHTH Family Reunion
We are very excited to have our good friend David Stedman's band, The Main Street Big Band performing at our Restoring Hope Reunion on September 8th. David stayed at Restoring Hope while his wife Cheryl received a kidney transplant years ago.  As many of you know, he is very active in several transplant related causes and with the Lions Clubs who have been so supportive of this house over the years.  We look forward to seeing his band in action!
In Their Own Words: David Stedman During His Stay at RHTH
Spent another restful night at the Restoring Hope Transplant House in Middleton as Cheryl continues to recover from her Kidney Transplant at UW Hospital in Madison. Continue to meet many transplant recipients and caregivers that are so grateful to have a place to go to like this to get support and comfort during their transplant journeys. It's nice to know there is a place where families can stay to get so much love and support from others going through the same type of journey that feels more like home when you are far from your real home. We are so lucky to have the Restoring Hope Transplant House here in Wisconsin. Thanks to the great Lions, Lioness, and Leos from Wisconsin who support Restoring Hope Transplant House with generous donations. A truly wonderful place for transplant patients, caregivers, and guests to stay so close to UW Hospital.

T-Shirt Design
This concept for the Reunion t-shirts was just submitted.  The final t-shirt is likely to be on a slightly different color shirt and the font may be slightly different as well, but this will hopefully give you a better idea of what our shirts will look like!  We can't wait!
50/50 Raffle Supports RHTH
Friends with the Middleton Lions Club are having a 50/50 raffle in support of the Restoring Hope Family Reunion.  Many tickets have already been sold and are currently available at Restoring Hope Transplant House.  The winner will be announced at the Family Reunion on September 8th and need not be present to win.

50/50 Raffle tickets - 1 for $5 or 5 for $20
Dottie Dot Appearance
We are very excited that Dottie Donor Dot will also be making an appearance on September 8th at the Reunion.  Dottie does such a wonderful job traveling the state of Wisconsin to promote organ donation and is undoubtedly one of the biggest reasons why Wisconsin is such a successful state for generating organ donors.  Bring your cameras, Dottie is always eager to meet new friends and pose for pictures!
