And, of course, we will keep you posted about further upcoming release.
Jordan Willeford '16 (second from left) traveled to Nanao, Japan,  the sister city of the Monterey Rotary Club,  this summer. After going through a very competitive process  with the Monterey Rotary Club, taking in account academic standing,  leadership, and community service, Jordan and three other students from Monterey County were selected to accompany three Japanese students from Nanao back to Japan after they had enjoyed their time in Monterey,
The students who were selected had to write essays, attend two Rotary meetings, speak at a Nanao tea ceremony, and will be speaking at the Monterey Rotary meeting on August 22.  Jordan says it was eye opening trip for him and he came away making great memories, learning a lot, and making new friends.

Nicole Romero Roberts '96, husband Jonathan, and daughter Amelia, aka Buggy, opened their eatery PigWizard at 32 Cannery Row, on the Coast Guard Pier, right by San Carlos beach in Monterey.
The name gives it away - they offer anything pork, from delicious sausages, sandwiches, pork rinds, to Scotch Eggs. You can enjoy your meal at the PigWizard restaurant overlooking the marina or take it to go. You can also hire them to cater your next event, roasting a whole pig right in front of you.  Peruse their menu at pigwizard.com .

On a side note, the PigWizard also offers use of their D-CARBONATOR, which removes baked on grease off hood filters, sauté pans, bbq grates, enameled cast iron, everything except Teflon. If you've got pans at home that need this treatment, bring them to the Pig Wizard. For $5 bucks your pan will look brand new. It's true! It works like a charm!
