Call for Artists
Public Art Project in Santa Ana
The developers of a new Starbucks located at 2701 N. Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, California is issuing a Call for Public Art Proposals to Santa Ana-based artists or artist teams for the design, fabrication, and installation of an original, durable, and low-maintenance outdoor public artwork suitable for placement on this property. The budget for the project is $10,000 and timeframe for project completion is 1 month or less from signing of the contract. The deadline for proposal submission is Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 5:00 PM (PST). The artwork should reflect the history and diversity of the surrounding community and be tied to the theme of "coffee," and there is no set artistic medium (sculptures, murals, and art installations are acceptable). Application Deadline Extended to September 1 for Santa Ana Arts Collective Affordable Housing
The developer of the new Santa Ana Arts Collective, an affordable housing project for artists, has extended its deadline for applications to September 1. More details here.
