Along with population growth, Stafford has experienced societal and cultural growth over the last 20 years. With many new plans on the horizon, the County wants to build upon Stafford's rich history and incorporate the ideas of all its citizens as it moves into the future with new amenities such as a museum, expanded tourism offerings and the creation of a "Downtown Stafford." To accomplish this effort, the Stafford County Department of Economic Development and Tourism is partnering with the Stafford Museum Foundation to hold a series of community forums designed to solicit ideas from citizens on shaping the culture of Stafford County. What's Next Stafford

I have been and want to continue to ask, "What's Next?  Stafford."  I encourage you to consider this for our community and your business - to foster creativity!   Yet, it occurred to me that we should also ask "What is Stafford?".  We have begun to host Community Forums to directly ask our community that question.  The answers will clarify how we focus design development in Downtown Stafford and our Tourism Plan.

At the same time, as we move forward, I want to encourage you to consider our next Veteran's Business Bootcamp (see below).

New ideas and plans are forthcoming to better incentivize business growth from within our existing business community and new projects in the coming months.  Our incentives focus on all businesses, and in particular, our targeted sectors - Cyber\IT and Distribution.  Data Center Attraction efforts also continue, as Stafford emerges as a very competitive location.

Stay Tuned... #WhatsNextStafford.
