Pieces of the Rock
Quest for His Kingdom
Matthew 6:33
Dear Parents,

Welcome back! Here at school we could not be more excited that the sound of children once again has filled our halls! We started the year in worship together, with Pastor Steve leading us with a message centered on our theme for the 2019/2020 school year:

Quest for His Kingdom

Pastor had his backpack loaded up with for different quests. From binoculars for bird watching, to a compass to find north, and a lot of school supplies used throughout the year in different classes, Pastor was equipped for his quests! We were then reminded about the tools we have for the most important quest and that is the Quest for His Kingdom! God gives us His word, parents and teachers along the way to guide and help us!

What a great reminder for our students and all of us believers! As we begin the Quest this year there will be times when we feel lost or alone along the way but Christ promises and guarantees us that He will guide us and protect us.
Thanks be to God!

Have a great year!

In Him,
Chris Brune

He is a graduate of Purdue and a Fort Wayne area native.

Changing of position
Josh Fitzgerald - Mr Fitzgerald was our PE/Math teacher last year. This year he is beginning technology classes here at Saint Peter’s! He will continue to teach a math class and have some time to run IT/tech support for us however. We are really excited for the growth this new opportunity, under Mr. Fitzgerald’s direction will allow our students!

Holly Ehle - Mrs. Ehle comes back to Kindergarten after 2 years in the preschool! She has served at Saint Peters in those 2 capacities now for 13 years! We know that she will be missed in preschool however we are really excited to have Mrs. Ehle back in the Kindergarten room!
Important Car Line Reminders
The beginning of the school year is always a great time to review some important rules for carline, especially in the morning. Thank you for your help is keeping our kiddos safe!

  • Do not let your kids leave your vehicle until you are in one of the first four spots.
  • If your kids have left your vehicles from one of the first four spots, do not cut through the open lane to exit. For the safety of the other students exiting their vehicles, please wait until the car in front of you exits.
  • If you park at the church and walk your child(ren) over, please use both crosswalks on Maysville Road and through carline to the main entrance.

First Quest Activity
Friday was an exciting time here at school! Aligning with our school theme of Quest for His Kingdom, each month we will have a Quest that guides our chapel families through the armor of God. Friday we began our first quest! We went through a couple team building activities and then together had a scavenger hunt all over our campus, followed by a sweet treat and ending with some fun fellowship on the playground!
Easy Ways to Support the School
Please join the Kroger Plus program. It only takes a couple of minutes and helps support the school. We currently have over 140 families that have linked their Kroger plus card to support Christian education here at St. Peters and we are now earning around $2,000 per year. Google “Kroger” on your computer or internet device and under the community tab, put our code #WG079 so that your rewards will support our school.

Also, the Amazon foundation, Amazon Smile, will support our school, if you link your account to support St. Peter’s school. Go to smile.amazon.com/ch/35-1007002 to link your account. Thank you to everyone that is supporting us in these ways.
