Mid-Week Meetings are back!

We are excited to return back to Mid Week Programming. There have been a couple of changes. Please read the schedule below.

Tuesday Night High School & Wednesday Night Middle School Group Meetings: (Meetings will start at 6:30pm!)

6:30pm Arrive and fellowship (Masks and Distancing is Required)

7:00pm Announcements and Group Games

7:30pm Music and Teaching

8:00pm Dismissal

IMPORTANT NOTICE: There will be no food or drinks served as of right now, nor will eating be allowed. Please finish all meals and snack in your car before arriving.

Confirmation Class 2021 is Postponed Until Fall 2021

There just hasn't been enough interest for this year's confirmation class so we are going to reschedule it for the Fall. More information will be available once the dates have been chosen. Visit www.firstchurchpo.org/confirmation for information about what Confirmation is and what to expect.

Fun Spot's NIGHT OF GOLD Worship Music Festival April 24

Night of Gold is a one-night-only Christian youth event held at our Orlando location and will feature a joyous evening of music, food, faith and fellowship for guests to enjoy together. You must sign up by APRIL 11th, 2021 at the button below and pay through First Church as all Tickets will be pre-purchased through Fun Spot America Theme Parks’ Group Sales Department. Cost is $50 a person and you must arrange your transportation to the park.

Tony has invested in a new device called MinHub Portal (It will look like picture to the left) that brings all the communication to one spot. It has (never disappearing for accountability) messaging like texting, and allows for announcements and links like Remind with no character max. It sends the recipient a notification if a post is made right to their smartphone. Students and Parents can download this smartphone or tablet app from the apple store or the google play store and enter the credentials below. Please sign up today.

Instructions:

2. Choose Youth when asked to select a ministry to connect

5. Enter your name, (app will text you a passcode), enter 6 digit passcode

It's Time to Register for Summer Camp

(via the 144 Envelopes Fundraiser)

Parents have met at the Parent Connect Meeting and have decided on Week 2 (June 21-26, 2021) for this year's Summer Camp at Warren Willis Camp in Fruitland Park. There are a few things to remember.

The registration and payments for this trip are made through Warren Willis Camp Site. (The Register Button is Below). There will be a payment made on behalf of your student(s) if you choose to use their account or if your student receives a camp scholarship.
You have until April 30th to register and receive 144 Envelope Proceeds money to put towards your students camp.
Currently the decision has been made to NOT take the church bus for Covid reasons. We are looking to borrow a bus from another church that has windows that open. Parents may have to be responsible for getting their student back and forth to the camp on the days expected.
There may not be any First Church Staff represented at the camp for the week. Warren Willis has intimated that they are going to be limiting Volunteers and Non Camp Staff to the camp to limit the number of contact.
