Oh, my, it's been a long time since I've written!  We can blame some of that on holidays (and recovery from holidays!) and me working hard with new designs!  Yes, you'll see some super-exciting new things pretty soon!

In the meantime....
Let's have a sale to celebrate the Dog Days of Summer!!  (I'm hoping not to have any more Dog Days, but a sale is more than welcome!!)

The sale prices are in effect until August 26th, 2019, so grab them before they're gone!

We continue having fun on Facebook Letters Live on Thursdays!
You can see me (and sometimes Kathy Jo) sharing projects and techniques
on Thursdays 4pm Pacific time and 7pm Eastern.

It doesn't happen very often these days, so I'm delighted to be teaching calligraphy - two classes for the Westcoast Calligraphy Society in Vancouver in the late October!

I love teaching calligraphy.  It's so rewarding to see the Aha! happen!

1 day workshops on Foundational and Italic calligraphy.
These are perfect for those that are just beginning their hand lettering journey as well as for those that wish to improve.
:
Focus on Foundational on October 26,
AND
Italic Bootcamp on October 27
9:30 to 4 both days.
A great value at $80 per workshop. Take one - OR BOTH - and treat yourself to a creative weekend!
:
Visit our website at westcoastcalligraphy.com for more information and the registration form (click on Seminars). Act fast, space is limited!
Welcome!
We now have a third new designer on the Quietfire Design Team.  You'll be seeing all three on both Quietfire Creations and Quietfire Digital.

Welcome Nancy Nickel! Here's a little bit about Nancy in her own words.
Hello, from the prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada! I live here with my sweet and tolerant husband. Our two girls are all grown up, and we have a lot of fun in our empty nest. It's a good thing we have snow half the year (or more), as I really like to hibernate. What a great excuse to stay at home and craft! To keep myself from becoming totally anti-social during my hibernation, I enjoy meeting and making new crafty friends online, from all over the world! The rest of the year I try to balance crafting with taking long walks along the river with my husband, popping in at the farmers' market, and having picnics in our favorite parks.

You can visit Nancy on her blog: The Nickel Nook

And a reminder about our previous introductions:
