CSA Boardwalk Repairs Continue
Repairs to the beach boardwalks that sustained damages from Hurricane Matthew are still underway. The following boardwalks repairs or replacements have completed: Boardwalks #20, #21, #22, #23, #24, #29, #31, #32, #33A, and #40.

  • Construction of Boardwalk #25 is complete. See photos below.
  • Work on Boardwalk #26 will begin October 7th and take approximately 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Property owners should use Boardwalk #25 during construction of Boardwalk #26.

On Wednesday, Oct. 2nd the Governance Committee hosted a Town Hall Meeting on Governance. The 6 task forces within the Governance committee made presentations to the community on what they are considering and discussing within their specific task force.

Beaufort County To Host Recycling Events Tomorrow Saturday, October 5th
Beaufort County Public Works Department

Two free electronics recycling events canceled due to Hurricane Dorian have been rescheduled. The events will be held Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:
• Beaufort County Public Works, 9 Benton Field Road, Bluffton ( map )
• Beaufort County Public Works, 140 Shanklin Road, Beaufort ( map )

These events are open to all County residents; any personal computers, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, CRT televisions, non-CRT televisions, printers, hard drives and miscellaneous electronics (microwaves, cell phones, radios, fax machines, and typewriters) will be accepted.
