Interpretive Service Changes at Mercy Care

Applicable To: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care Long Term Care, Mercy Care DD, Mercy Care DCS CHP and Mercy Care RBHA 

Mercy Care is expanding the network of interpretation vendors that providers can use to help Mercy Care members. Expanding the network of interpretation vendors ensures that all Mercy Care members have access to quality, timely and efficient interpretation services. Implementation of the new interpretation vendors requires changes to the current scheduling process.

Starting February 1, 2022 Mercy Care providers must contact Mercy Care Member Services directly for interpretation service requests. Providers will no longer schedule requests with interpretation vendors directly. Interpretation services delivered outside of this new scheduling process cannot be paid by Mercy Care.

Providers can call the Mercy Care Member Services numbers below to schedule interpretation services. Use the phone tree prompt for interpretation services. Note that Member Services cannot schedule interpretation appointments beyond 30 days advance notice. Any appointments currently scheduled beyond February 28, 2022 will need to be rescheduled with Mercy Care Member Services.
