Host a USHJA Jumper Classic in 2020
|
Making its debut this year, the USHJA Jumper Classic Series offers jumper riders competing from 1.10m to 1.40m an opportunity to earn additional prize money, Zone HOTY bonus points, and awards and recognition.
Licensed competitions choosing to offer the USHJA Jumper Classics are encouraged to offer all four levels, but may choose to offer whichever level(s) will best compliment their competition.
No separate application is needed, simply include the information in your show's license and prize list information similar to the process for the USHJA National Hunter Derby.

Get Your Jumper Classes on the USHJA Show Jumper Rider Ranking List
|
The
USHJA Show Jumping Rider Ranking List
allows competitions to recognize their standalone featured classes as Level 1 or Level 2 designated classes. These classes allow those competitors to earn points, regardless of their home zone, to get onto the Ranking List. Points earned anywhere in the United States will accrue to the National List, and also to the Regional lists for an athlete's home zone.
Competitions can have up to two classes that count toward the USHJA Ranking List. Only one class can be recognized for each level, and classes must meet the levels' criteria and specifications. For example
, a show may have a Welcome Stake that meets the criteria of Level 1 and a Grand Prix that meets the criteria of Level 2, in which class both classes will be pointed.
There are minimal sign-up requirements and no fees attached. Please see the guidelines for more information.

USHJA Hunter Section Changes
|
The USHJA Hunter sections are designed to provide competitors with an opportunity to earn
Zone Horse of the Year
or
Stirrup Cup
points in typically unrated, open sections with fence heights of 2'0", 2'3", 2'6", 2'9" or 3'0".
New this year in the USHJA Hunter sections, management may select up to four sections (open, junior, amateur and horses/ponies in their first year of competition over fences) per fence height per competition. If only one section is offered, this section must be open to all competitors. A horse and/or rider may only compete in one section of the height. No more than two sections may be judged at one time.
